Green and Gold Soup

  1. In a soup pot, combine the dried split peas, chopped onion and broth.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 45 minutes, or until split peas are tender.
  4. Stir in creamed corn, and curry powder, and cilantro.
  5. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
