Traditional Pumpkin Pie Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix well.
  3. Pour into pastry shell.
  4. Bake 15 min.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees; bake 35 to 40 min longer or possibly till knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
  6. Cold.
  7. Garnish as desired.
  8. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
  9. Chill leftovers.
