Vegan Roughly-Chopped Soy Bean Hamburger

  1. Roughly chop the boiled soy beans, and finely mince the ingredients.
  2. If using a food processor, only use it in short bursts, taking care not to turn the soy beans into a paste.
  3. Combine the ingredients with Step 1 and form into paddies.
  4. Cook in a frying pan coated with a thin layer of olive oil.
  5. Cover with a lid and cook each side for 4 minutes.
  6. Do not touch them until they've browned.
  7. In the same frying pan, add the ketchup and Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Mix together and lightly heat, taking care not to burn it.
  9. Pour over the hamburger.
  10. Try eating this a la hamburger style with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise between two buns.
  11. It's really delicious.
