Grandma's Creamed Spinach Only Better
- 20 ounces spinach
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 (1 ounce) envelopes onion soup mix
- 1 cup colby-monterey jack cheese
- 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- If using frozen Spinach, thaw and drain well.
- If using fresh, rinse, chop and drain well.
- Grease a 1 quart covered casserole.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except corn flakes.
- Pour into casserole.
- Melt butter and mix with crushed corn flakes.
- Put corn flakes on top, cover and bake for 35-45 minutes.
