Flatbreads/flatbread pizzas

  1. Sift flour into a medium sizef bowl
  2. Add salt and yeast to flour
  3. Create a well in the centre of flour.
  4. Pour in water and oil
  5. Mix well
  6. Continue adding flour to mix until dough is no longer sticky
  7. On a lightly floured surface knead the dough for five minutes
  8. Return dough to bowl and cover and leave somewhere warm for approximately 1 hour
  9. Preheat oven to 220F Centigrade
  10. Knead the dough once more for a further five minutes.
  11. Dough can be wrapped and frozen for future
  12. With a rolling pin roll the dough such that it is long and thin
  13. If making plain flatbreads bake in oven for three minutes turning once
  14. If making pizzas add tomato sauce made from passata, basil, oregano, black pepper, salt and a pinch of sugar
  15. Add toppings of choice and bake for 3-5 minutes
  16. Done!
