Brad's jalapeno cheese grits

  1. saute onion and pepper in oil
  2. at the same time, add cheese and milk to a saucepan.
  3. cook on low until cheese is smooth
  4. in a large pot boil water covered
  5. when water boils, slowly add grits so they don't clump
  6. turn heat to lowest setting.
  7. simmer for a couple minutes until grits are tender
  8. add cheese and vegetables
  9. serve immediately

dry grits, water, onion, milk, salt, velveeta cheese, cheddar cheese
