Classic Stuffed Peppers

  1. Brown meat with onions in large skillet on medium heat.
  2. Stir in 1 cup tomato sauce, 1 cup water and dressing mix.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Stir in rice; cover.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Let stand 5 min.
  7. Meanwhile, heat oven to 400F.
  8. Cut tops off peppers; discard seeds.
  9. Mix remaining tomato sauce and water in bottom of 9-inch baking dish.
  10. Add peppers; fill with meat mixture.
  11. Cover.
  12. Bake 35 to 40 min.
  13. or until peppers are tender.
  14. Spoon sauce from bottom of dish over peppers just before serving.
