Beef With Tomato & Peppers Recipe
- 1 pound tender beef
- 3 med. hard tomatoes
- 2 med. green bell peppers
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 teaspoon Hawaiian salt (Kosher-rock salt, regular table salt O.K. too, but not as tasty)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Cut beef into small thin slices.
- Mix with 1 tsp.
- cornstarch and 1 Tbsp.
- soy sauce.
- Wash and seed peppers.
- Cut vegetables into wedges.
- Parboil peppers 2 min in boiling water.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Brown garlic, add in salt.
- Add in beef and fry for 3 min.
- Add in sauce and cook till thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add in tomatoes, cook till heated through.
