Hamon rollada con salsa
- 20 slice of deli ham
- 1 white onion thinky sliced
- 20 toothpicks
- 3 serano chiles or 2 jalapenos
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 1 small handfull cilantro
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 salt to taste
- 4 tsp frying oil (I use corn oil)
- 4 cup water
- Roll each slice of ham and hold them together with toothpick
- Place all listed veggies except onion in blender then add water, blend on high until smooth.
- Heat pan with oil.
- Add ham rolls 5-7 at a time depending on size of pan.
- Cook on each side allowing it to get golden brown then remove from oil and add next batch.
- Repeat step until all ham rolls are cooked.
- Once ham rolls are all cooked add them all back into the pan and alow to reheat about 2-4 minutes.
- Add salsa mix from blender and sliced onion.
- Allow to simmer together until onion is transparent.
- Salt to taste!
- Serve with spanish rice and refried beans for a complete meal.
