• Hot and Spicy Chex Party Mix
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) margarine or butter*
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
• 1-1/4 tsp (6 ml) seasoned salt
• 2 to 3 tsp (15 ml) red pepper sauce
• 3 cups (700 ml) Corn Chex cereal
• 3 cups (700 ml) Rice Chex cereal
• 3 cups (700 ml) Wheat Chex cereal
• 1 cup (225 ml) mixed nuts
• 1 cup (225 ml) pretzels
• 1 cup (225 ml) bite-size cheese crackers

1. Heat oven to 250 .
2. Melt margarine in large roasting pan in oven.
3. Stir in seasonings.
4. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
5. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
6. Spread on paper towels to cool.
7. Store in airtight container.
8. Prepares 11 cups (2600 ml) snack.
9. *Do not use spread or tub products.
10. Melt margarine in large microwavable bowl uncovered on High.
11. Stir in seasonings.
12. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
13. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes.
14. Spread on paper towels to cool.
15. Store in airtight container.
16. Important: Because microwaves cook differently, time is approximate.
