Bisquick Homemade Recipe
- 5 lb All-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. Salt
- 2 1/2 c. Powdered lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 lb Vegetable shortening
- 3/4 c. Baking pwdr
- Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening till it resembles corn meal.
- Place in large container; keep cold.
- Biscuits: 3 c. Homemade Bisquick 3/4 c. water Blend and knead about 10 strokes.
- Cut out and bake in preheated 450 degrees oven.
