Italian Monte Cristo
- 20 each eggs
- 2-1/2 qt. milk
- 2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1-1/4 cups KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 80 slices Dense country-style Italian bread, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 160 slices OSCAR MAYER Cotto Salami Stacks 1/2 oz. Slice
- 80 slices Sliced provolone cheese (3/4 oz. each)
- 1-1/4 cups butter
- Beat eggs with wire whisk until foamy.
- Add milk, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese; beat until well blended.
- For each serving: Top 1 bread slice with 4 salami slices and 2 provolone cheese slices.
- Melt butter on griddle set at 325F.
- Dip both sides of sandwich into egg mixture.
- Place on griddle; cook until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides.
- Serve immediately.
