Cafe Flora's Vegetable Nut Burgers Recipe

  1. Coulis: Saute/fry fennel in oil till soft.
  2. Add in onion, garlic and tomatoes; mix lightly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Let sit at roo temperature for 4 hrs to combine flavors.
  5. Burgers: Combine all burger ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  6. transfer to a food processor and pulse briefly to create a meal-like consistency.
  7. Form into 12 patties.
  8. Grill on a well-oiled vegetable grill, o saute/fry for 3 to 4 min on each side, till brown.
  9. Serve with coulis.
  10. Serves 12.
