Grandma Giannelli'S Artichokes
- 4 large artichokes
- 2 eggs
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 4 c. Italian bread, crumbled
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 stick pepperoni, cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 c. crushed tomatoes
- 1 whole clove garlic
- Using a sharp knife, cut the stem off each artichoke to make a flat base.tull off tough outer leaves.
- Cut off about 1/2 inch off the top of each artichoke and open tops with your fingers. Invert thetrtichokes
- ont flat surface, pressing down on each one

- Combine all other
