Okra Sabzi
- 500 grams Chopped Okra.
- 1 medium Tomato
- 3 tsp Fresh Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 small Chopped Onion
- 3 Green Chilies, Chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 5 Curry Leaves (Optional)
- 1 Salt
- 1 Turmeric
- tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Coriander or Cilantro
- Heat Oil in a Wok and add all the aromats.
- The Curry Leaves, Cumin, Onion, Ginger Garlic Paste and Chillies.
- By now, your whole house would be smelling amazingly!
- After the onion starts to change color add the salt and then add the chopped okra.
- Now this is a strenuous job as you have to cook the okra till the stickiness of the okra is gone.
- This takes about 10 minutes and you need to stir it all the time.
- After the stickiness is gone add turmeric and tomato.
- Close the lid and keep it on lowest possible flame for 10 minutes.
- After its cooked, add chopped cilantro or coriander and serve.
