Freezer Mix Lasagne
- 1 package beef-tomato freezer mix
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 package lasagna noodles
- 1 package cottage cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 cups swiss cheese shredded
- 13 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated
- Heat oven to 350F (180C).
- In ungreased baking pan, 13x9x2 inches, or baking dish, 11 3/4x7 1/2x1 3/4 inches, layer half each of the noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese; repeat.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.
- Bake uncovered until hot and bubbly, about 40 minutes.
- Dip container of frozen mix into hot water just to loosen.
- In 2-quart saucepan, heat frozen mix, oregano leaves, parsley and water to boiling.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Uncover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until mix is thawed.
