Herbal Condiments for Chilled Somen & Udon Noodles
- 1 piece Ginger
- 5 leaves Shiso leaves
- 1 Myoga ginger
- 1 Tempura crumbs
- Peel the ginger and grate.
- Cut the myoga vertically into diagonal, thin slices.
- Cut the shiso into thin strips and soak in water, then drain.
- Boil the somen and eat with your favorite condiments.
- Eggplant TeriyakiThis tastes delicious if you add somen.
- "Mulukhiya & Natto"The stickiness of the natto goes well with somen noodles as well.
