Slow-Cooked Beef Curry

  1. Combine flour, curry powder, salt, coriander and ginger in large resealable plastic food bag; add stew meat.
  2. Seal bag; shake to coat.
  3. Melt butter in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add beef.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned.
  5. Sprinkle any remaining flour mixture over beef.
  6. Spoon into 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker.
  7. Stir in all remaining ingredients except rice and cilantro.
  8. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 to 6 hours or until beef is tender.
  9. Serve over rice, if desired.
  10. Garnish with cilantro.
