Bacon & Tomato Grilled Cheese
- 8 slices whole wheat or multi-grain bread
- 4 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes Deli American
- 8 thin slices tomato, patted dry
- 8 slices crisply cooked bacon
- 12 to 16 spinach leaves, if desired*
- Spread 1 side of each bread slice with 1/2 tablespoon butter.
- Layer 1 slice cheese, 2 slices tomato, 2 slices bacon, 3 to 4 spinach leaves and 1 slice cheese onto each of 4 slices bread, buttered-side down.
- Top with remaining bread slices, buttered-side up.
- Heat 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
- Place 1 sandwich into skillet; cook, turning once, 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
