Cherry Mocha Cookies

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter.
  2. Gradually add sugar and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir together flour, cocoa, coffee and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Stir in pecans and cherries.
  6. Chill dough for ease of handling if necessary.
  7. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until cookies are set.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
  10. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
