Pizza Rye Snacks
- 2 pounds Italian Sausage, Browned And Drained
- 1 pound Velveeta Cheese, Cubed
- 1 Tablespoon Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Steak Sauce Of Choice
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 8 ounces, weight Jar Pizza Sauce
- 2 loaves Party Rye Bread
- 1/4 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Combine all ingredients except pizza sauce, bread and Parmesan in skillet.
- Heat slowly, stirring occasionally, until Velveeta melts.
- Spread approximately 2 Tablespoons of the mixture on each piece of bread.
- Top with pizza sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Freeze in a single layer, storing in freezer bags once they are completely frozen.
- When ready to serve bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
- Dont thaw before baking.
