Dutch Apple Pie

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Prepare crust in 9-inch pie plate as directed on package for one-crust filled pie.
  3. Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup granulated sugar with mixer until blended.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Spread onto bottom of crust.
  6. Mix remaining granulated sugar, 2 Tbsp.
  7. flour and cinnamon.
  8. Add to apples in large bowl; toss to evenly coat.
  9. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
  10. Mix remaining flour, brown sugar and oats in medium bowl.
  11. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over apple mixture.
  12. Cover.
  13. Bake in bottom third of oven 50 min.
  14. or until apples are tender, uncovering after 20 min.
