Quick Mexican Chicken And Dumplings
- 2 c. preseasoned, precooked chicken fajita meat (preferably from Metro-Webb Food Service)
- 1/2 c. chopped bell green peppers
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground comino
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 1 pkg. (12) flour tortillas
- Saute meat, onions and bell peppers in butter in a large pot. Add remaining ingredients, except tortillas.
- Bring to a boil. Cut flour tortillas into sixths.
- Drop into liquid, one at a time. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
