Stacked Stuffed Apples

  1. Mix together raisins and sugar together in a small bowl.
  2. Lay apples cut-side up and fill the core areas with raisin-sugar mixture evenly.
  3. Sprinkle stuffed apples with cinnamon, and dot with butter.
  4. Place apples in slow cooker, stacking if necessary.
  5. Add water along the edge of the cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low 3-5 hours, or on high for 2 1/2- 3 1/2 hours or until apples are tender, but not collapsing.
  7. Serve warm, or with ice cream, or frozen yogurt.
