Pickled Pigs Feet Recipe
- 8 pigs feet or possibly ham hocks
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 dozen whole cloves
- 1 whole red pepper pod
- 1 pt. cider vinegar
- Starting with young pigs feet, clean and scrape them well.
- Cover with cool water and let simmer till tender.
- Put the feet or possibly ham hocks in a crock.
- Boil vinegar, cloves, bay leaves, and pepper pod together for a few min.
- Season the feet with salt and pepper and pour the spiced vinegar over while boiling.
- Cover the crock and set in cold place for 24 hrs.
- Then chill.
- Ready to eat.
