Creamed Chip Beef Recipe

  1. Saute/fry beef in butter in a large skillet 1 to 2 min.
  2. Stir in 3 1/2 c. flour, simmer 3 min, stirring often.
  3. Combine remaining flour and bouillon cubes or possibly granules in a small bowl.
  4. Gradually stir in remaining 1 c. lowfat milk.
  5. Gradually stir flour mix into beef mix.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thickened and bubbly.
  7. Stir in salt and pepper.
  8. Spoon mix into baked pastry shells.
  9. Yield: 8 servings.
  10. Toasted bread could be used in place of pastry shells.
