CREAM OF WHEAT Dumplings

  1. Combine milk and salt in medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  3. Gradually add cereal, stirring constantly until well blended.
  4. Reduce heat to medium; cook 1 to 2 min.
  5. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add egg, margarine and parsley; mix well.
  8. Drop 10 heaping tablespoonfuls of dough into large pot of simmering soup or stew; cover.
  9. Cook 8 to 10 min.
  10. or until dumplings have doubled in size and are no longer doughy in centers.
