Deliciously Healthy Chicken Nuggets
- 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 blood orange
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- cut chicken breast into small bite size or nugget size pieces.
- arrange on plate and sprinkle with olive oil.
- cut blood orange and squeeze juice over chicken.
- sprinkle creole seasoning over chicken, turn chicken to mix juices and seasonings, let marinate for 30 minutes.
- pour wheat germ onto separate plate and transfer one piece of chicken at a time to evenly coat both sides.
- place prepared chicken on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 20 - 30 minutes.
- serve with favorite dipping sauce and fresh vegetables.
