Peanut Butter Dream Bars Recipe
- 2 c. quick oats, uncooked
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. minced peanuts
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 (14 ounce.) can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. M&M Plain chocolate candies
- Combine oats, flour, peanuts, sugar, soda, and salt; mix well.
- Add in butter; mix till dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened and mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Reserve 1 1/2 c. crumb mix; press remaining mix onto bottom of greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch jelly-roll pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 12 min.
- Combine condensed lowfat milk and peanut butter in small bowl, mixing till well blended.
- Spread over partially baked crust to within 1/4 inch from edge.
- Combine reserved crumb mix and candies; sprinkle proportionately over condensed lowfat milk mix, pressing in lightly.
- Continue baking for 20-22 min or possibly till golden.
- Cold thoroughly; cut into bars.
