Maple Creme Brulee for Two

  1. Use a 2 cup measure to measure and combine all ingredients except sugar in the order listed.
  2. Pour mixture into two ramekins or custard cups.
  3. Place ramekins into loaf pan.
  4. Pour very hot water into the loaf pan, about halfway up the ramekins.
  5. Place loaf pan in preheated 300 degree oven.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes until mostly set.
  7. Cool and chill thoroughly.
  8. Sprinkle each ramekin with 1 tsp raw (or regular) granulated sugar.
  9. Brulee with a kitchen torch until brown and melty on top.
  10. Enjoy immediately!
