Curried Squash With Apples Recipe

  1. Set oven temperature at 400 degrees.
  2. In a large, flame proof casserole, heat the butter.
  3. When melted, add in the onion.
  4. Cook for 8 min over medium heat, stir occasionally.
  5. Add in the apple and brown sugar and cook another 3 min.
  6. Add in squash and stir into the curry mix till thoroughly coated.
  7. Add in the wine and stock and set to boil.
  8. Turn off heat, scatter raisins over the mix and cover.
  9. Transfer the casserole to the oven.
  10. Bake till squash is tender, about 45 to 55 min.
  11. Add in salt (if preferred) to taste.
  12. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve.
