Meatballs and Peppers Oriental

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine milk, grape nuts, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  2. Let stand 10 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef and mix well.
  4. Shape into 15 meatballs.
  5. In a 10 inch skillet, brown meatballs on all sides.
  6. Remove to a platter; drain off excess fat from pan.
  7. In small bowl, combine gravy mix, cornstarch, wine and water.
  8. Pour mixture into skillet; cook and stir until mixture bubbles.
  9. Add meatballs and chopped onion.
  10. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
  11. Add green pepper; cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
  12. Add tomato and heat through.
  13. Serve over hot cooked rice.
