Austrian Gulyas Soup

  1. Render the bacon & saute the onions until caramelized.
  2. Add the beef, paprika, & garlic, Stir for one minute.
  3. Slowly add the flour.
  4. Add the tomato paste, stock, & sachet.
  5. Simmer for one hour.
  6. Add the potatoes during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  7. Adjust the seasoning and top the soup with dumplings & Lemon zest.
