Toci Sauce
- 12 cup canola oil (or other light flavored oil)
- 12 cup almond butter
- 14 cup tofu
- 3 garlic cloves
- 12 cup water (plus more for reconstituting pepper)
- 12 cup lime juice
- 13 cup nutritional yeast
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 dried pepper (such as Chipotle or Ancho)
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Reconstitute the pepper in boiling water.
- Reserve 1/2 c water for use in recipe.
- Remove stem and seeds.
- (Leave seeds for more heat.)
- Combine oil, almond butter, and garlic in food processor.
- Snip reconstituted pepper into small pieces with scissors, and add to food processor.
- Blend.
- Add remaining ingredients and puree until smooth.
