Hugo Rickey

• 1 ice cube
• 1/2 lime or 1/4 lemon
• 1 1/2 ounces gin
• Chilled club soda
• 2 dashes grenadine
• 1 slice pineapple

1. Put the ice cube in an 8-ounce highball glass, squeeze in the juice of the lime or lemon, add 2 dashes grenadine, then drop in the shell.
2. Add the gin, fill with club soda, and stir.
3. Garnish with pineapple slice.
