Cheesy Pasta Bake
- 2 roma tomatoes, Diced
- 14 onion, Chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 12 teaspoons oregano
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 14 teaspoon thyme
- 1 (16 ounce) bag rotini noodles
- 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, Grated
- 14 cup water
- 1 -2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever cheese you prefer or have on hand)
- Chop up the tomatoes, onion and garlic, put them in a small sauce pan and saute until onion and garlic are translucent.
- Add in the Tomato sauce, as it starts to boil use a potato masher and mash up the tomato's a little more.
- Add the remaining sauce ingredients, and allow sauce to simmer for about 15 minutes.
- This can be done ahead of time.
- Cook the Noodles according the directions on the package.
- Once done drain and put them back in the pot.
- Pour the sauce onto the noodles and stir.
- Then add in the Parmesan Cheese and combine.
- Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees.
- Pour the mixture into a slightly greased 8x8 Pan.
- Pour 1/4 cup water down over the noodles.
- Top with the Cheddar Cheese, and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool a minute before serving.
