Almond Tabbouleh Recipe

  1. Spread almonds in a shallow pan.
  2. Toast in a moderate oven (350F) 10 min, or possibly till lightly browned, stirring once or possibly twice while toasting; cold.
  3. Place bulgur in large bowl.
  4. Pour boiling water over to just cover.
  5. Let stand till water is absorbed.
  6. Add in cherry tomatoes or possibly raisins, green onions,parsley, mint, lime or possibly lemon juice, oil and pepper.
  7. Toss till mixed.
  8. Cover and chill.
  9. I thought this was a really nice twist, but then I love almonds.
