  2. I've attached a couple recipes I found on the app.
  3. (you can use beef broth for a substitute) You should save any leftover au jus.
  4. Makes a really good base for a soup or stew.
  5. Preheat oven to 350F and bring the au jus to a full simmer.
  6. With a large very sharp chef's knife slice the prime rib.
  7. Take your time and go slow and keep the slices as thin as possible.
  8. When you're done shaving go through the prime rib picking out any large pieces of fat.
  9. Split open the hoagie roll and spread with garlic butter.
  10. Place in the oven for 5 to 8 minutes.
  11. The bun should be "lightly toasted".
  12. Add the cheese and return to the oven for about 5 more minutes.
  13. Remove when the cheese is nice and melted.
  14. Add the sliced prime rib to the hot broth for about 30 seconds.
  15. You are just want to reheating it slightly, not trying to cook it anymore.
  16. (a mesh wire basket comes in handy for this)
  17. Let the shave prime rib drain for a few moments then add to the hoagie roll.
  18. Should be served with sour cream horseradish sauce and a cup of au jus for dipping.
