Saucy Skillet Lasagna

  1. Cook first 4 ingredients in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 8 to 10 min.
  2. or until meat is browned and mushrooms release their liquid, stirring frequently.
  3. Add peppers; cook 2 min.
  4. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
  5. Stir in sauce and water.
  6. Bring to boil; cover.
  7. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Reserve 4 cups sauce.
  10. Break 3 lasagna noodles into 1- to 2-inch pieces; spread over remaining sauce in skillet.
  11. Top with 1/2 cup shredded cheese, 2 Tbsp.
  12. each Parmesan and basil; cover with 2 cups of the reserved sauce and remaining noodles.
  13. Repeat layers of cheeses, basil and sauce.
  14. Top with remaining shredded cheese; cover.
  15. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min.
  16. or until noodles are tender.
  17. Remove from heat; uncover.
  18. Let stand 5 min.
  19. before cutting into wedges to serve.
