Broccoli And Sausage Quiche Recipe
- 1 x 9 Inch Pie Shell -- unbaked
- 2 Tbsp. Dry Onion -- chopped
- 4 x Brown & Serve Sausage Links Sliced 1/2" thick
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 10 ounce Frzn, Minced Broccoli -- Thawed & Liquid removed
- 1/2 c. Fresh Mushrooms -- Sliced
- 2 x Large eggs -- Beaten
- 1 c. Swiss Cheese -- Shredded
- 10 3/4 ounce Can Cream Of Broccoli Soup, Condensed
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Line the unbaked pie shell with a double thickness of foil.
- Bake for 8 min.
- Remove foil.
- Bake till golden brown
- (4-6 min more).
- Set aside.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees.
- Cook the sausage and mushrooms in a large skillet till the sausage is brown
- (about 5 min).
- Stir the Large eggs, condensed soup, onion and pepper together in a medium bowl.
- Stir in the sausage mix, broccoli, and 3/4 of the cheese.
- Pour the mix into the pie shell.
- Bake till a knife inserted near the center comes out clean (40-45 min).
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over.
- Let stand for 10 min.
- Serve.
- Yields 6 Servings.
