Coffeecakes
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 12 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 12 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (15 ounce) can pie filling (optional)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 -3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 12 tablespoons cold butter or 12 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 -2 tablespoon milk
- Make the topping and set aside-.
- mix the dry ingredients.
- add cinnamon if you like.
- cut in cold butter or margarine until it forms small crumbles.
- cream margarine & sugars.
- add the eggs & vanilla.
- add dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
- mix well.
- divide into 4 round pans or 2 13x9 pans-divide the pie filling on top.
- divide the topping over the cakes.
- bake at 350 degrees for about 40 min or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center.
- MIX MILK AND POWDERED SUGAR TO A THIN MIXTURE.
- DRIZZLE OVER THE COOLED CAKES.
- CAN BE FROZEN.
