Coffeecakes

  1. Make the topping and set aside-.
  2. mix the dry ingredients.
  3. add cinnamon if you like.
  4. cut in cold butter or margarine until it forms small crumbles.
  5. cream margarine & sugars.
  6. add the eggs & vanilla.
  7. add dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
  8. mix well.
  9. divide into 4 round pans or 2 13x9 pans-divide the pie filling on top.
  10. divide the topping over the cakes.
  11. bake at 350 degrees for about 40 min or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center.
  12. MIX MILK AND POWDERED SUGAR TO A THIN MIXTURE.
  13. DRIZZLE OVER THE COOLED CAKES.
  14. CAN BE FROZEN.
