White Butter Wine Sauce Recipe
- 3 shallots, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. white wine vinegar or possibly muscatel wine
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- Healthy pinch of salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. freshly minced parsley
- In a small saucepan, boiled down shallots in vinegar or possibly muscatel wine.
- Continue cooking over low heat stirring occasionally 15 min.
- Allow to cold.
- Stir in parsley.
- Whisk in some room temperature butter, stirring over low heat.
- Add in salt, vinegar or possibly muscatel.
- Simmer five min.
- Serve with fish.
