Barbequed Mini Meatballs Recipe
- 1 lb hamburger meat
- 1 x egg
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 x clove garlic chopped
- 1/2 tsp chili pwdr optional
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 bot mild taco sauce (8 ounce) or possibly 12 ounce jar chili sauce or possibly ketchup
- 1 jar grape jelly (about 8 ounce)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon or possibly prepared mustard
- In a large bowl, combine grnd beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, lowfat milk, garlic and chili pwdr; mix well.
- Shape into about 45 1-inch balls.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat till oil sizzles, about 1 minute.
- Add in meatballs.
- Brown on all sides.
- In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients.
- Add in to meatballs.
- Stir gently to coat meatballs.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cook covered till meatballs are done through.
