Italian Orchard Acorn Squash

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Halve squash lengthwise.
  3. Remove seeds and stringy membranes.
  4. Bake 40-45 minutes.
  5. Fill squash with applesauce, brushing a bit over the exposed edges.
  6. Sprinkle with spice.
  7. Broil 4-5 minutes.
