Knock-off Chick-fil-A Bites
- 3/4 cups Pickle Juice
- 3/4 cups 2% Milk
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pound Thin Chicken Breasts, Cut Into Chunks
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/2 cups Peanut Oil
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- In a plastic container, whisk together pickle juice, milk, egg and salt.
- Add in the chunks of chicken breast and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
- Once chicken is done marinating, combine all of the ingredients for the breading in a large Ziplock bag.
- Add chicken chunks to the flour bag and shake until all of the chunks are coated.
- Add peanut oil, salt and pepper into a large Dutch oven set over medium-high heat.
- Let the peanut oil get very hot.
- Drop chicken chunks into the hot peanut oil and fry for about 2 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken to a plate covered with a paper towel to drain off the grease.
- Repeat this process until all the chunks have been cooked.
- Serve with your favorite sauce.
- Im a ketchup girl, but honey mustard, ranch, or barbeque would work beautifully.
