15-Minute Stroganoff
- 1 pound beef, round steak
- 23 cup water
- 3 ounces mushrooms, canned
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
- 1 x egg noodles cooked and drained
- Cut meat into thin strips; brown in shortening.
- Add water and mushrooms.
- Stir in onion soup mix; heat to boiling.
- Blend sour cream and flour, and add to hot mixture.
- Let thicken.
- Serve over noodles.
