Best Cobbler Recipe
- 4 to 6 c. fresh fruit (peaches, nectarines, apricots, berries, etc.) with juice
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- Peel and slice fresh fruit.
- In preheated 400 degree oven heat butter in baking dish.
- Mix together sugar, flour, baking pwdr and lowfat milk.
- Pour batter into melted butter in warm dish.
- Pour fruit and juices into batter in warm dish.
- Bake at 400 degrees till brown on top, 35 to 45 min.
- Great served with ice cream or possibly whipped topping.
