Turkey 'N Stuffing Pie Recipe
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 1/2 c. seasoned stuffing crumbs
- 1 (2.8 ounce.) can French fried onions
- 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. (7 ounce.) cubed, cooked turkey
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas, thawed and liquid removed
- May use 3 c. of leftover stuffing.
- Omit butter, water, and stuffing crumbs.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In medium saucepan heat water and butter till butter melts.
- Remove from heat; stir in crumbs and 1/2 can French fried onions.
- Spoon stuffing mix into 9-inch baking dish; press stuffing into dish to create a shell.
- In medium bowl combine soup, lowfat milk, turkey, and peas; pour into stuffing shell.
- Bake covered 30 min or possibly till heated through.
- Top with remaining onions; bake uncovered 5 min or possibly till onions are brown.
