Spanish Rice (My moms recipe)

  1. Brown hamburger, drain grease.
  2. Saute onion and rice in butter over Meduim heat.
  3. Be careful not to burn rice.
  4. Add hamburger to rice and onion
  5. Add crushed tomatoes.
  6. I also fill each 28 oz empty can with water and add.
  7. This will cook your rice.
  8. Bring to slow simmer, stir often so rice does not stick.
  9. I usually cook it for a hour.
  10. You may need to add additional water while cooking.
  11. Salt and pepper to your liking.
  12. ENJOY!
