Cabbage and Carrot Coleslaw
- 1/2 small cabbage
- 1/3 Carrot
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Coarsely ground black pepper
- Wash the cabbage, then julienne into roughly 3 cm long strips.
- Then peel the carrot, and julienne into about 3 cm long strips too.
- Put the ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
- Add the cabbage and carrot from Step 1 and mix thoroughly.
- Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Thoroughly drain any moisture from the cabbage and carrot mixture, then put into a different bowl.
- Add the seasonings and mix well to finish.
